Following severe storms and rains that made the water in the Maussane-les-Alpilles network cloudy, teams purged the network throughout the night. The water has regained its normal appearance on Wednesday, October 21, although temporary residues may persist in some areas.

After heavy rains, the water in the Maussane-les-Alpilles network was cloudy, rendering it unfit for consumption. Teams worked all night to purge the network.
On Wednesday, October 21, the water has returned to its normal appearance. Some cloudy water residues may still be present in certain sectors, east and west of the town, while clear water reaches the end of the network. Purging will continue throughout the day.
In parallel, the drinking water reservoir has been emptied and will be disinfected during the day before being put back into service by the end of the day. During this period, the network is supplied directly by the Flandrin borehole and the Les Canonnettes reservoir.
This situation exclusively concerns Maussane-les-Alpilles. Les Baux-de-Provence and Le Paradou are not affected.
The municipality assisted with the distribution of bottled water at the town hall.
