The municipality of Meyrargues has been officially designated an "organ donation ambassador city," a title to be inaugurated on October 17th.

This initiative aims to raise public awareness about organ, tissue, and bone marrow donation. The local government has partnered with the association Espoir 13, which has been promoting these vital causes for forty years.
As part of this commitment, a "tree of life" will be planted to symbolize the commune's support and serve as a place of remembrance for donors and their families. Two commemorative signs will also be installed.
The official inauguration will take place on Saturday, October 17th, at 5 PM at the town hall. The public is invited to attend this event, which will be followed by a toast of friendship in the presence of Maryse Blangero, president of the association Espoir 13.
