The EDF hydroelectric plant in Saint-Chamas is launching a new visitor space for the general public and schoolchildren, a result of collaboration between EDF and SYMCRAU.

The EDF plant in Saint-Chamas is now opening its doors to the public. Philippe Léandri, President of SYMCRAU, and Charlotte ALCAZAR, Director, visited the hydroelectric power station site to discover the new visitor area designed for the general public.
SYMCRAU contributed to the development of the visitor route, including the creation of several explanatory panels by EDF. These panels aim to inform visitors about this essential facility.
With visits open by registration and the participation of schoolchildren, the goal is to help the public (re)discover this key element of the Durance-Verdon hydroelectric chain.
