Saint-Mitre-les-Remparts has prepared a program of activities for the Toussaint holidays, taking place from October 21 to 31, 2026. Events will be held at the Théâtre de la Manare, the Médiathèque Charles Rostaing, and in the old town center.
On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the Théâtre de la Manare will host a poetic cine-concert based on La Fontaine's Fables. An artist will illustrate each fable live, accompanied by two musicians from the Philharmonique de la Roquette. This 45-minute show is suitable for all audiences aged 3 and up. The Médiathèque Charles Rostaing will offer two Halloween-themed origami workshops for children, led by Delphine Minassiam. These creative and fun workshops will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026: from 2 PM to 3:30 PM for children aged 5 to 7, and from 4 PM to 6 PM for those aged 8 to 10. As part of the Festival des Comédies, the Théâtre de la Manare will present the children's show Patapon at 4 PM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026. This performance invites families to sing and marvel together in a wonderful forest. Later that evening, at 8:30 PM, the play Le Morpion will be performed, a comedy promising laughter and surprises centered around an unusual shared apartment. A grand Halloween evening is planned for Friday, October 30, 2026, starting at 6 PM in the old town center. The program includes a show in Place de l'Église, followed by a mini-disco in Place Neuve. Food stalls will be run by the school associations GIPER Rostand and FCPE Vaillant. Admission is free.
On the last Saturday of the month, the Médiathèque Charles Rostaing will hold its Café philo on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 2 PM. The theme for this discussion will be: 'Can one be happy when others are not?' Registration is open at 04 42 49 15 11 or at the library's reception desk.
