The City of Trets is organizing a mobilization weekend for Octobre Rose on October 17 and 18, with events dedicated to breast cancer screening awareness.

On the occasion of Octobre Rose, the City of Trets is mobilizing with its partners to raise awareness about breast cancer screening and support research. Throughout the weekend of October 17 and 18, two major events are planned, focusing on solidarity, prevention, well-being, and sharing.
On Saturday, October 17, from 1 PM to 6 PM at the Place de la Gare, an afternoon will be dedicated to meetings and discussions on women's health. Various actors, mainly women, will be present to inform, share their experiences, and introduce initiatives such as La Maison Ellaé (women's health), Nyna Tatouage (artistic repair), Handidream (animal mediation), Au Royaume des Abeilles (pink nougat), Alaé (saffron), Laëtitia (wood engraving), Le Bol à Laine (ribbon workshop), and Presse le Sagittaire (crêpes).
Two sporting events will punctuate the afternoon: at 2:00 PM, a line dancing session with ES13, with participation fees donated to the IPC (Institut Paoli Calmettes). At 3:30 PM, a Zumba session with Team’Z, with online registration for €10 also donated to the IPC.
Sunday, October 18, will be dedicated to the Rando Rose (Pink Walk). The City of Trets, in partnership with the Confrérie Saint-Eloi, invites participants to a solidarity hike towards the Ermitage Saint-Jean du Puy. Two departure options are available: at 9:00 AM from the Cour du Château des Remparts (via the Parc à Chiens) and at 9:30 AM from the Parc à chiens (chemin de Graffine).
The arrival is scheduled for 11:00 AM at the Ermitage Saint-Jean du Puy, where participants will gather for a friendly and symbolic moment. Participation is open to all, and attendees are encouraged to wear a touch of pink to show their support. Registrations are limited to 300 places, with a solidarity contribution of €10 per person, entirely donated to the Institut Paoli-Calmettes. The first 300 registered participants will receive a bottle of water offered by Saint-Eloi.
This mobilization weekend is organized by the City of Trets in collaboration with the Confrérie Saint-Eloi, Les Amis de Saint-Jean du Puy, Team’Z, Point de Chute, Handidream, La Maison Ellaé, and the Institut Paoli-Calmettes.
