Free compost available self-service in open bins, with a shovel provided.

The Serre-Ponçon Val d'Avance Community of Communes is offering free, ready-to-use compost, resulting from the transformation of organic waste by earthworms. Bins are open in several towns.

After several months of transformation by earthworms and other charming creatures, your organic waste has become quality fertilizer. Free, ready-to-use compost is now available to enrich the soil of your gardens and plantations. The composting bins are open for several weeks before winter, and everything must go!
This compost is ideal for nourishing your plants, vegetable patches, and flowerbeds, as well as for mulching your soil to protect it from drought and cold.
To benefit, visit one of the shared composting sites, bringing a shovel and a bucket or bag. Collection points are located in: Bréziers (village center), La Bâtie-Neuve (behind the Leisure Center, Maison de Santé parking, Les Platanes neighborhood, and Chemin des Grands Marais), La Bâtie-Vieille (village center), La Rochette (Pont-Sarrazin neighborhood), Espinasses (at the bowling green), Piégut (village parking), Rambaud (village center), Remollon (Place de l’Hermitane), Théus (near the sorting point), Rochebrune (near the sorting point, Les 3 Lacs exit), and Valserres (village entrance).
