The municipalities of L'Argentière-La Bessée and La Roche-de-Rame are joining forces to honor the memory of soldiers who fell for France during the commemoration of the Armistice of November 11, 1918. The public and patriotic associations are invited to participate in these official ceremonies to be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
This partnership aims to offer a solemn and shared tribute, structured in two key moments throughout the morning.
The program will begin in La Roche-de-Rame with a gathering at the military square at 10:00 AM, followed by the ceremony at the War Memorial at 10:15 AM. A moment of conviviality (coffee, tea, and snacks) is planned on the forecourt of the Espace Château at 10:45 AM.
In L'Argentière-La Bessée, the morning will continue with a departure from the Town Hall at 11:15 AM, followed by a procession to the War Memorial. The ceremony will include speeches, the reading of the names of soldiers who died for France, and the laying of wreaths. An aperitif will be served at the cultural center at 11:45 AM.
