The town of Draguignan is celebrating the third edition of its Agriculture Festival this October 17th, an event held in the parking lot of the Allées d’Azémar until 5 PM.

This festive, friendly, and family-oriented event aims to showcase Var agriculture, allowing visitors to meet producers and share their expertise. Around forty producers are present for this edition.
The goal is to foster dialogue between rural and urban communities. Agriculture, its products, its terroir, its know-how, and its professions are presented to city residents through a producers' market and children's games. Areas are also dedicated to training, employment, and the presentation of agricultural equipment.
The professionals present wish to demonstrate the possibilities in terms of agricultural employment, while sparking interest and curiosity among participants, and thereby dispelling preconceived notions about the agricultural world.
The full program is available on the town's website. Richard Strambio, Mayor of Draguignan and Regional Councilor of Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, along with Arnaud Autric, Municipal Councilor for Agriculture, were present with other elected officials.
