Following the extreme weather events and fires that impacted the Sud-Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region this summer, an agricultural recovery fund of €10,126,332 has been released. This initiative aims to support the cash flow of struggling agricultural holdings, particularly for financing essential inputs such as animal feed, fodder, seeds, and plants.
In the Var department, two specific plans are now open: the 'Fire' plan and the 'Heatwave / Drought' plan. Farmers have until October 9, 2026, to submit their applications.
