The Cap Garonne Mine Museum, located at 1000 Chemin du Baou Rouge in the Var department, has announced its Cultural Events for 2026. Among the offerings is an innovative guided tour via smartphone, allowing visitors to explore the museum's history and collections independently and interactively.
This smartphone-guided tour is available in several languages, ensuring broader accessibility for international visitors. The estimated duration of the visit is approximately one hour. Visitors are advised to bring warm clothing as the indoor temperature ranges between 14 and 15°C.
The museum also ensures accessibility for accompanied individuals with reduced mobility. Leashed animals are welcome. The Mine Shop will also be open to visitors.
