This weekend, Restos du Cœur is launching a departmental collection in several supermarkets in the Var, calling for donations of hygiene products and food.

Food donations are the primary source of supply for Restos du Cœur. Every donation counts and helps those most in need. This Saturday and Sunday, when you shop at Auchan (large and small), Lidl in Langevin, Intermarché in Pas du Loup, or Leclerc in Les Sablettes, you can hand over a few items to the volunteers present at the entrance.
The priority needs are for essential hygiene products such as sanitary protection, baby diapers, soaps, and toothpaste. Dry food products like canned vegetables, pasta, rice, and cans of tuna, sardines, or mackerel are also sought after, as they facilitate transport and storage.
“

"We need first-necessity hygiene products (sanitary protection, baby diapers, soaps, toothpaste…) and dry food products (canned vegetables, pasta, rice, cans of tuna, sardines, mackerel…) to facilitate transport and storage."

Christian Lépine · Communications Manager
The collected food and hygiene products will be distributed to the people welcomed in the Restos du Cœur centers within the department where they were collected.
