The Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis celebrated the 5th edition of the TPM Awards on Tuesday, October 7, recognizing fifteen laureates for their contribution to the economic, social, cultural, and sporting dynamism of the territory. The evening highlighted the richness and diversity of know-how that makes the Metropolis shine far beyond its borders.
During this friendly ceremony, entrepreneurs, economic actors, elected officials, and partners gathered at the Zénith de Toulon to salute local successes. The president of the TPM Metropolis, Josée Massi, emphasized the importance of valuing talents and the common ambition to make Toulon Provence Méditerranée an attractive, supportive, and sustainable territory.
Among the laureates, PLASTIC & FILS from Le Pradet was recognized in the Sustainable Development and Circular Economy category, while WEPROC in Toulon was distinguished for Digital and Innovation. In the Health, e-health, Silver Economy, and Solidarity sector, the UNITE DE MEDECINE ET DE TRAUMATOLOGIE DU SPORT (UMTS) in Toulon received an award.
For Agriculture and Food, LE RUCHER DE BAUDOUVIN in La Valette-du-Var was honored. The Tourism, Events, Hospitality, and Catering sector saw GROUPE LOMBARDOT from Hyères recognized. Cultural and Creative Industries highlighted Pierre TRANCHAND from Le Pradet.
In the Defense, Maritime Economy, and Industry category, SEAOWL TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS from Ollioules was distinguished. Commerce and Craftsmanship awarded BIERE DE LA RADE and PAIN DE LA RADE in Toulon. ISEN MEDITERRANEE in Toulon received the award for Higher Education and Research.
The Sportsman of the Year award went to MIKAEL MERGUI, representing the TPM Metropolis. The NGO Josy CHAMBON received the Association of the Year trophy, honoring its late founder. HUGO VAZ ÉLITE CARROSSERIE in Six-Fours-les-Plages was recognized in the Youth category.
The TPM Honorary Award was presented to THIERRY GUÉVEL of NAVAL GROUP, and the Special TPM Award to ADI in Six-Fours-les-Plages. Finally, ANTHONY DENON of RESTAURANT SHANAEL in Toulon was named Entrepreneur of the Year.
The ceremony also featured a tribute to Josy Chambon, founder of the award-winning NGO. The TPM Awards aim to promote innovation, growth, attractiveness, and virtuous practices among the territory's actors.
