The City of Hyères has initiated a study for its future Bike Plan, featuring an online survey to gather citizen input and the development of a one-kilometer cycle lane.

The City of Hyères has launched a study as part of its future Bike Plan. The aim is to better understand residents' travel habits and identify necessary infrastructure improvements to meet everyone's needs. The municipality encourages citizens, whether regular or occasional cyclists or simply road users, to participate in an online survey to contribute to the development of soft mobility and the enhancement of travel within the territory.
A first concrete development is planned: nearly one kilometer of bidirectional cycle lane will be created on Avenue Geoffroy-Saint-Hilaire. This new cycling route will facilitate access to the new Espace 3000 and improve cycling continuity between the Almanarre site, the port, and the train station district.
Construction for this project is scheduled to begin in early 2027.
