A public inquiry to approve the aviation easements plan for the Le Luc – Le Cannet aerodrome has been initiated in the Var.

By decree of September 15, 2026, the prefect of the Var has ordered the opening of a public inquiry. This process aims to examine the plan for the aviation clear zones of the Le Luc – Le Cannet aerodrome.
The inquiry covers the territory of the municipalities of Le Cannet-des-Maures, Besse-sur-Issole, Cabasse, Flassans-sur-Issole, La Garde-Freinet, Le Luc, Les Mayons, Le Muy, Le Plan-de-la-Tour, Sainte-Maxime, and Vidauban.
This procedure is initiated at the request of the Minister of Armed Forces and Veterans. It will take place over 19 consecutive days, from Monday, October 12, 2026, to Friday, October 30, 2026, inclusive, at the town hall of Le Cannet-des-Maures.
