The application period, open until November 30, 2026, covers the UTLN Master Excellence Scholarship (excluding work-study masters) and the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship (Master and Doctorate). These scholarships aim to support bright and motivated students in their higher education studies in France.
For the UTLN Master Excellence Scholarship, eligibility criteria include foreign nationality (candidates with dual French nationality are ineligible), no existing French government scholarship, a foreign Bachelor's degree with a minimum average of 15/20, C1 French proficiency (B2 in English for fully English-taught programs is an asset), and a research project aligned with UTLN's strategic axes. An interview is mandatory. The amount is €950 per month for 12 or 24 months.
The France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship is for foreign students born after March 31, 1997, for the Master's level, and after March 31, 1991, for the Doctorate level (cotutelle or co-direction). Students already in France are eligible, but those studying abroad have priority. Several Master's programs, particularly in Law and at the SeaTech engineering school, as well as specific other Masters, are not eligible. The fields covered are science and technology, and humanities and social sciences. Academic excellence and project coherence are paramount. The scholarship amounts are €1,200 per month for Master's and €2,100 per month for Doctorate.
