From January 1, 2027, waste sorting rules are changing in Tourves: all paper can now be placed in the yellow packaging bins and columns.

The municipality of Tourves announces a major simplification of its waste sorting rules starting January 1, 2027. From now on, all types of paper can be placed in the bins and columns designated for yellow packaging, alongside plastics, metals, and cardboard.
This measure applies to a wide range of paper products: books, notebooks, magazines, newspapers, envelopes, paper bags, and even gift wrap.
Concurrently, the blue bins, currently reserved exclusively for paper, will be gradually removed from the territory starting October 1, 2026.
Residents of Tourves are encouraged to adopt this new sorting habit immediately by placing all their paper items in the yellow bins and columns.
