Avignon University hosted the "Night of Law" on October 5th, in collaboration with the Avignon Judicial Court and the Avignon Bar Association. The event aimed to bridge the gap between academia and the judicial world.

The evening included a fictional trial, "The Franck M Case," followed by an interactive debate with the audience. This initiative allowed students to engage with legal codes and discuss societal issues with justice professionals.
This type of event reflects the university's commitment to fostering a direct link between academia and the judicial sphere, serving both education and citizenship.
The university extended its sincere thanks to the Avignon Judicial Court, its president Philippe Lejeune, and deputy public prosecutor David Dufour, as well as the Avignon Bar Association and its bâtonnier, Me Anne-Cécile Dubois.
Gratitude was also expressed to the CER Faculté de droit de l’ institut CPSN, the AED – Association of Law Students for their dedication, and to the numerous students and members of the public who attended.
