The "Broyez du vert" operation, offered by Grand Avignon, allows individuals to have their green waste shredded directly at home. This service, returning for the winter period, will be available until March 12, 2027.
To benefit from it, simply prepare your pile of green waste and contact Direct Grand Avignon at 0800 71 84 84 to make an appointment. The service is paid and operates from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm. Each household is limited to two appointments. The cost of the service is €30 per hour, with a potential 50% tax credit refund for gardening work.
Shredding green waste significantly reduces the volume of branches and twigs from garden maintenance. The resulting mulch can be reused on-site for mulching, composting, or soil protection, offering an ecological and local solution.
This service is reserved for residents of the following municipalities: Caumont-sur-Durance, Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue, Jonquerettes, Le Pontet, Morières-lès-Avignon, Saint-Saturnin lès Avignon, Vedène, Velleron, and Avignon (excluding the city center).
