Parents of students in Entraigues-sur-la-Sorgue are informed that a general national strike notice has been filed by trade unions for Tuesday, September 29, 2026. This industrial action will affect the operation of the town's municipal and school services.
School principals will provide specific information concerning each child's class(es). Regarding municipal services, morning and evening extracurricular activities and school catering will not be available at the town's four schools.
For children whose teachers are not striking, care will be provided only during regular school hours, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. For children whose teachers are on strike, a minimum care service will be offered as simple daycare at the usual schools, during the same hours: 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Please note that no catering services will be provided during this period.
This minimum service will be ensured by municipal staff, including ATSEM (Specialized Territorial Agents for Nursery Schools) and activity leaders. The town hall thanks parents for their understanding regarding these inconveniences.
