3rd 'Foulées douces' for Mental Health in Montfavet

The Montfavet hospital center is organizing the 3rd edition of the 'Foulées douces' (Gentle Strides) on Sunday, October 11, 2026, a solidarity race and walk for mental health.

As part of the Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM), the event will take place at the Montfavet hospital center and in Agroparc. It is open to everyone, including people with disabilities, local associations, and families.
Several formats are available: a 5 km race (start at 9 am, €9), an 11 km race (start at 9:15 am, €11), and a 5 km walk (start at 9:30 am, €6). The 2025 edition attracted over 200 participants.
A 'Health and Prevention Village' will offer activities and a 'minute snack' stand, with participation from Les Colombes de la Croix des oiseaux and Cafétéria La Parenthèse.
The race is organized by the Montfavet hospital center, the CLSM (Local Council for Mental Health), Association Athom, Association Harfang Santé Mentale, Association Vivre Doul’ heureux au quotidien, the Departmental Committee for Adapted Sports (CDSA84), and the Maison sport santé du Grand Avignon. Partnerships include CPAM d’Avignon, the City of Avignon, and ARS PACA.
