A press conference was held on Tuesday, September 15, at the Place de la Glacière in Monteux to announce the upcoming opening of a new shop. This establishment will be dedicated to butchery, delicatessen, or cheese making.
This initiative is part of the "My Shop Project" operation, jointly launched by the City of Monteux, the Sorgues du Comtat agglomeration community, and Initiative Ventoux. The main objective is to economically revitalize the city center and meet the needs of its residents.
During the event, representatives from the three organizations spoke. Cathy Benhamou, Municipal Councilor for local economy, commerce, and attractiveness, and Jean-Claude Obert, deputy for Social Affairs, presented the details and ambitions of this project.
