An analysis of geotechnical and meteorological data concluded that the abnormal intensity of the phenomenon was not proven. The commune's soil moisture index has a return period of less than 10 years. Furthermore, the communal territory has not experienced an abnormal succession of significant drought and soil rehydration episodes, and the hydrometeorological situation in neighboring communes is not considered abnormal.
