On October 3 and 4, 2026, Moustiers-Sainte-Marie becomes a pottery hub with its annual Pottery Market. This event, held on the first weekend of October, will showcase the skills of ceramic artisans.
On Rue de la Bourgade, artisan potters will present their latest creations. The Place de l’Église will host demonstrations centered around ceramics, offering insights into traditional and modern techniques.
The Galerie de la Bourgade will feature a reconstruction of a faience workshop, with free admission. Additionally, the Musée de la Faïence will offer a guided tour at 9:30 AM (conditions available on the museum's website) and a self-guided visit during its opening hours. A temporary exhibition titled "Floral Decorations in Moustiers" will also be on display.
The Galerie de l’Ancien Presbytère will host an exhibition-sale titled "Objets Désuets" (Obsolete Objects), organized by the association Terres de Provence.
This event is organized by the Artistic Association of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, with support from the Museum of Faience of Moustiers-Ste-Marie. Access to all activities is free.
