In times of crisis, rapid information dissemination is crucial. SMIAGE Maralpin provides municipalities with a tele-alert system to quickly contact residents, complementing their existing alert methods.

The platform allows messages to be sent via SMS, email, fax, or voice calls, accessible from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Campaign activation is reserved for the mayor or a delegated authorized person.
To enhance responsiveness, alert scenarios can be pre-configured based on identified risks, such as weather warnings, flood risks, or neighborhood evacuations. An integrated mapping tool also allows for precise targeting of affected populations, particularly based on risk zones defined in regulatory documents (PPR).
These scenarios facilitate the implementation of the different phases of the Communal Safeguard Plan (PCS): vigilance, pre-alert, alert, evacuation, and return to normal. Messages can thus be broadcast in seconds, effectively informing the population and aiding crisis management.
The costs for design, deployment, training, and annual subscription of this tool are fully covered by SMIAGE for a period of 1 year, based on funding from the Department of Alpes-Maritimes. Registration is free for the public.
