The City of Aix-en-Provence is launching its major solidarity toy drive, the Fontaine aux Jouets, to support the most disadvantaged families. The operation runs from December 3rd to 11th.

This initiative aims to provide a gift for every child, and associations are counting on the generosity of residents to collect thousands of toys. The Fontaine aux Jouets is presented as essential during this difficult period.
Donations of new or very good condition toys are accepted at the annex town halls during their opening hours, as well as at the City Hall. Plush toys are not accepted for hygiene reasons.
In previous years, damaged games, incomplete puzzles, or plush toys in poor condition have complicated the work of volunteers. Donors are asked to offer a toy they would like to receive themselves. It is also requested not to wrap the toys in gift paper.
For those who cannot travel to the Hôtel de Ville square, a "diabline" (a type of trolley) is available for dropping off toys, which will then be transported to the fountain.
