The association Histoires d’Aix et de Provence is organizing the traditional Kings' March through the streets of Aix-en-Provence. This historical and religious event, which has been held for over two centuries, will lead participants to Saint-Sauveur Cathedral for the adoration of the Magi ceremony.
The procession will begin at 2:15 PM in front of the Madeleine church. It will then proceed through Thiers and Tournefort streets. A gathering is planned at the foot of the statue of King René, featuring songs and dances, before descending the Cours Mirabeau.
Festivities will continue with stops and activities at the Fontaine de la Rotonde, then in Rue des Cordeliers and on the Place de la Mairie, where calissons will be distributed. The procession will also pass through Rue Gaston de Saporta.
At 4:00 PM, the Kings' March celebration will take place at Saint-Sauveur Cathedral, marking the climax of this cultural and religious event.
