On the occasion of Pink October, the month dedicated to raising awareness for breast cancer screening and prevention, the municipality of Le Bar-sur-Loup invites you on Sunday, October 11, 2026, for a day focused on prevention, solidarity, and conviviality.
From 12 PM to 7 PM, Square Seytre will host several associative stands and a food truck, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the day and meet the mobilized stakeholders.
At 2 PM, a conference on breast cancer prevention will be held in the municipal council hall. This information and exchange session will emphasize the importance of prevention, screening, and awareness.
At 3:30 PM, a colorful event is planned at Square Minetti. All residents present are invited to wear pink to participate in a large collective photo taken by drone, a symbolic and unifying moment to show support for Pink October.
From 4 PM to 6 PM, the BSL Ados youth center will host a sewing workshop led by Les Rendez-vous du Loup. Visitors can also discover a photography exhibition by Jean-Louis Paris, the association's photographer president, centered around the project « Un Jour Un Ruban Une Photo ».
The day will conclude at 6:30 PM at the Chapelle de la Passerelle with a cultural and humorous note, featuring the play « L’Abribus », a comedy by Philippe Elno, starring Fabienne Colson and Richard Zanca.
