On the occasion of 'Octobre Rose' (Pink October), the City of Menton and its Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) are organizing the 10th edition of the 'Défi Rose'. This sporting and solidarity event will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at the Esplanade des Sablettes, aiming to support the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes.
This event seeks to mobilize everyone in favor of breast cancer prevention and screening. Participants are invited to choose between walking or running a 5-kilometer course, accessible to all. Departures will be staggered between 9 AM and 9:30 AM to accommodate everyone's pace.
Before the start, the 'Village Rose' will offer an area dedicated to information, prevention, and screening. Activities such as a collective warm-up, flashmob, and Zumba Party will punctuate the morning, making this day a key moment for awareness.
Registration is set at €10, with the entire amount donated to the League Against Cancer 06. Each participant, by running or walking, contributes to supporting prevention and screening actions.
This 10th edition is a collaboration between the City of Menton, its CCAS, the League Against Cancer of the Alpes-Maritimes, and numerous local partners.
