Musician Christian Pachiaudi, an internationally acclaimed bassist and double bassist who has been teaching at the CRR of Nice since 1991, is returning to his primary influences: the Jazz Fusion of the 70s/80s. A co-founder of the Nice Jazz Orchestra, he has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Claude Nougaro, Richard Galliano, Toots Thielemans, and Brazilian music masters like Chico Buarque.
Accompanied by his own ensemble, he will present a repertoire blending original compositions and revisited standards from the era, paying tribute to the creativity of those decades. He will be joined by Eric Sempé (guitar), Hugo Mezzasalma (piano), and Cédric Ledonne (drums), musicians familiar with the scene whose style evokes this significant period in jazz history.
The evening will begin with doors opening at 7:30 PM, followed by the concert at 8:30 PM. The event will take place at the Salle Polyvalente, located at 4 route de Nice in Opio.
