The Municipality of Saint-Jeannet is launching a call for candidates to form its Communal Land Management Commission (CCAF). This initiative aims to identify and enhance fallow or under-exploited land, with applications due by Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

As part of the initiative to develop fallow or under-exploited land in the Var Plain, the Municipality of Saint-Jeannet is seeking applications from forestry owners and owners of undeveloped land within its territory. Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 4 PM.
This effort, supported by the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes, aims to identify parcels with potential for agricultural, pastoral, or forestry redevelopment to foster sustainable land management. A Communal Land Management Commission (CCAF) will be established to oversee this process.
The commission is looking for representatives for two categories: forestry owners (2 full members, 2 substitute members) and owners of undeveloped land (1 full member, 2 substitute members). Members will be appointed by the Municipal Council.
Chaired by an investigating commissioner, the CCAF will be responsible for compiling a list of fallow or under-exploited parcels with potential for agricultural, pastoral, or forestry redevelopment, in accordance with articles L.121-3 et seq. of the Rural and Maritime Fishing Code.
Interested owners can submit their applications to the Saint-Jeannet town hall by mail, email (responsable.dd@saintjeannet.com), or in person at the town hall reception, by Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 4 PM.
The appointment of the CCAF members will take place during the Municipal Council meeting on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. For further information, please contact the Saint-Jeannet town hall or the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes (cdaf@departement06.fr).
