With the early onset of winter darkness, the "Cyclists, shine!" operation in Aix-en-Provence aims to enhance cyclist safety.

As the clocks change and night falls early, daily bicycle commutes become more hazardous. While public lighting helps cyclists be seen, it is often insufficient for safe travel. To ensure their own safety and protect other road users, cyclists must make themselves visible and equip themselves with proper lighting.
In response, ADAVA Pays d’Aix is organizing the "Cyclists, shine!" operation. Safety accessories, including city-reflective vests and light kits, will be distributed free of charge to passing cyclists.
The event will take place at the Rotonde, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
