The Campra auditorium at the Conservatoire Darius Milhaud in Aix-en-Provence will be the venue for a special concert on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 8:00 PM. Students who have earned their Diploma of Artistic Studies will present excerpts of their talent.
This concert is held for the benefit of the association Relais Aixois Opération Orange, founded in 1996 to support the work of Sister Emmanuelle. Composed entirely of volunteers, the association notably helps Egyptian children by promoting their education and emancipation.
Through donations, the association finances part of the tuition fees for one thousand fifty-three children at the Basma school, which Sister Emmanuelle established in the co-opted Christian quarter of the ragpickers of Mokattam, in the suburbs of Cairo. The school consistently achieves the best results in Cairo for the middle school diploma exams, yet families still require financial assistance.
Admission to the concert is free, with a voluntary contribution to benefit the association. An urn will be available to collect donations from generous attendees.
