The "Dawn's Promises" festival, dedicated to emerging and unconventional literatures, celebrates its fourth edition from Thursday, October 1st to Sunday, October 4th, 2026. Sponsored by author Chloé Delaume, this cultural event will offer four days of encounters, performances, readings, workshops, and shows.
Approximately thirty authors shaping the contemporary literary scene will animate the city center of Aix-en-Provence. Access to the festival is entirely free and open to everyone.
In parallel, a call for texts is launched for the collective project "Uto-pax, poetic utopias for desirable futures". Interested individuals have until August 25th to submit their writings dreaming of a more just society and new ways of living together.
This festival is supported by the city of Aix-en-Provence, in partnership with Aix-Marseille University, La Marelle, Paysage endormi, the Darius Milhaud Conservatory, Libraires du sud, Rencontres du 9e Art, La Cabane des voisins, and the bookstores Goulard and Le Blason.
