The Immediate Boarding program offers young architects a unique opportunity to explore and question the architectural and urban challenges of the European continent.

Aimed at architects under 35, who have graduated within the last 10 years from an ENSA, Immediate Boarding offers a formative experience focused on discovering different ways of thinking about cities and territories. Candidates are invited to submit their applications before November 5, 2026.
Led with invited curator Emmanuelle Borne, this program provides a travel framework with financial support and curatorial guidance. Young architects will be able to develop a travel project across the European continent, centered around a specific issue, destination, and outcome.
The narratives from these journeys, taking place in 2027, will culminate in a collective exhibition in Spring 2028 at the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine. This exhibition will share critical and forward-looking perspectives on the environmental, economic, political, cultural, and social transitions at play in Europe.
This project is initiated by the Fonds de dotation Quartus pour l'architecture, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine, the Apur - Atelier parisien d'urbanisme, AREP GROUP, the MAF, and ENSA Paris-Est for the ENSA network.
