Metropolitan media libraries are transforming into centers for scientific discovery from October 2nd to 10th for the Fête de la science. This event, supported by the Metropolis, aims to bring science closer to residents, focusing on the national theme « Saveurs savantes » (Savory Science), exploring the secrets of our food.
The program features a variety of free activities for all ages: practical and sensory workshops including making treats and guided walks to discover wild plants; fun experiments such as building solar ovens and learning about food science; as well as exhibitions and conferences on nutrition with professionals.
Poetic, playful, and artistic shows are also scheduled for family sharing moments. The program spans from Fos-sur-Mer to Miramas, including Istres, Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône, Pertuis, Grans, and Cornillon-Confoux, with each media library offering tailored animations.
By supporting these initiatives, the Aix-Marseille-Provence Metropolis reaffirms its commitment to making science accessible and sparking curiosity and vocations among the widest possible audience.
