Around fifty people gathered in Lambesc on October 20, 2026, for the first edition of Pink October, a day dedicated to breast cancer awareness, screening, and patient support.

The event began with a walk organized in two groups by the association La Retraite Sportive Lambescaine, followed by a friendly snack. La Passerelle des Possibles association offered workshops focused on mind-body connection.
Moving testimonies, including one from Frédérique Lorillard, highlighted the importance of listening and support during and after illness. Johanne Damour presented her work on reconstructive tattooing, helping women regain self-confidence.
The Bulles Roses shared their commitment to supporting people in remission through scuba diving, an activity that helps restore confidence, freedom, and the joy of living. This day fostered open dialogue and created valuable connections.
Throughout October, local associations in Lambesc are also mobilizing to support this cause, emphasizing the importance of prevention and early detection.
