Frac Sud has unveiled the list of 148 exhibitors participating in its event, showcasing the diversity of contemporary creation. This initiative brings together key players in independent art and publishing, with a strong presence from the Marseille scene, as well as participants from Brussels, Paris, Shanghai, and other international cities.
Among the exhibitors are numerous independent publishers such as 100 TRAMES, Cé éditions, Éditions métèque, Éditions sans soleil, and Le Dernier Cri, all based in Marseille. Other publishing houses like Bye Bye Binary (present in multiple cities), Éditions Matière (Montreuil), and Presse Commune (Montreuil) are also featured.
The event also highlights artists and collectives, including several based in Marseille such as Alexandre Gérard, Cliff Tait-Jamieson, Édith Despavet, FLEE, Gufo, Lazare Lazarus, LVJAF, PARAViSiON MUSiC, Pizzayolaude, Shed publishing, Thomas Boulmier, Tr4n$f€M Pr@x1s, and Vinciane Mandrin. The list also includes international names and Belgian entities like Hématomes Éditions (Liège) and Niels Poiz x Victor Abraham Lacô (Brussels).
Significant space is given to academic institutions and art schools, reflecting the importance of education in the artistic landscape. Notably represented are the Beaux-Arts de Marseille, the École d’architecture de Marseille, AMU - Aix Marseille Université, as well as institutions like the Beaux-Arts de Paris, the ENSP in Arles, and the ESAAIX in Aix-en-Provence. Art schools from Bordeaux (EBABX), Montpellier (ENSAM), Nice (Villa Arson), and Monaco (Pavillon Bosio) complete this list.
