Following a regulatory and financial feasibility study conducted by the city's services, specifications were established to meet user needs. The ground floor has been brought into compliance with hygiene and safety standards while implementing energy-saving measures.
The renovation included the replacement of all exterior joinery (windows and doors), a complete overhaul of the ground floor from floor to ceiling, space optimization, and the installation of a heat pump. Particular attention was paid to selecting less energy-intensive equipment.
The total cost of the project amounts to €188,302 including tax, with a subsidy of €100,000 from the Department.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several elected officials, including Richard Strambio, Mayor of Draguignan and regional councilor for Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, along with deputies Grégory Loew, Bernard Bonnabel, Alain Hainaut, and Richard Tylinski.
