Starting November 1, 2026, a single yellow bin will suffice for sorting all packaging and paper in the Toulonnaise area, thanks to the commissioning of SITTOMAT's new sorting center.

A major change in sorting instructions will come into effect in the Toulonnaise area starting November 1, 2026. From now on, a single bin, or a single yellow-lidded container, will be sufficient to collect all plastic, metal, and cardboard packaging, as well as paper.
This simplification is made possible by the commissioning of SITTOMAT's new sorting center, located in La Farlède. The organization, in partnership with CITEO, thus announces the end of the traditional grey bin for packaging waste.
