In preparation for All Saints' Day, young members of the Souvenir Français d’Hyères, supported by the Gendarmerie Cadets of the Sud Region, participated in the upkeep of the Ritorte cemetery and its military sections. The City of Hyères contributed to this effort through floral arrangements.

This initiative highlights a commendable cooperation dedicated to remembrance and the transmission of memory to future generations. The City of Hyères praised the commitment of the young participants and volunteers.
Each year, the Souvenir Français de Hyères is responsible for maintaining 363 graves located in the military sections of the cemeteries in La Ritorte and Giens. The organization also tends to over a hundred other graves in these two cemeteries, as well as in Sauvebonne and on the island of Porquerolles.
