This year, 1,765 runners started the 42nd edition of the Saint-Tropez Classic. In a sporty and warm atmosphere, this traditional race brought together amateur runners, seasoned athletes, groups of friends, and families united by a shared passion.
Two distances, 8 and 16 km, were offered to participants, giving them the opportunity to run through the town's emblematic locations, including the port, the Place des Lices, and the Canebiers district. Thanks to public support and individual efforts, this new edition saw some great performances.
The winners of the 16 km race were Damien Firoucci in 51 min 42 s for men and Isabelle Kujawski in 1 h 05 min 53 s for women. For the 8 km race, Ismael Lounas won among men in 26 min 52 s, and Salomé Lecoq among women in 31 min 48 s.
The next generation was also present with the Course des Minots (Kids' Race), which gathered over 200 children. It was a wonderful moment of sharing for these young athletes, cheered on by numerous spectators.
The City wishes to acknowledge the commitment of the association Courir à Saint-Tropez, presided over by Claude Eprinchard, as well as the volunteers and teams mobilized to ensure the smooth running of the event. Congratulations to all participants for their energy and performances!
