The Municipality of Pignans has activated its Communal Safeguard Plan due to adverse weather, leading to the closure of the Flassans road and power outages in certain areas.

Following the fall of a tree that tore down an electrical cable, the Flassans road is currently closed to traffic. Enedis teams, firefighters, municipal technical services, and departmental services are mobilized on-site to secure the area.
A power outage is expected for some residents in the affected sector, estimated to last 2 hours, to allow for the safe disconnection of the damaged cable.
Several other routes are also impassable due to significant runoff: Chemin du Fege, Chemin de la serre, Route des Salles-Orientales, Route des Plaines, La Foux, and Impasse de l’Environnement.
The Municipality urges extreme caution, asking residents to strictly respect barriers and road closures, not to enter flooded or blocked paths, to avoid non-essential travel in the affected areas, and to stay clear of fallen or damaged electrical cables.
Services remain mobilized, and the situation is evolving. The commune will keep residents informed of further developments through its communication channels.
