Students from nursery and elementary schools in Saint-Tropez actively participated in Taste Week, discovering new flavors through workshops and sensory experiences.

On the occasion of Taste Week, students from nursery and elementary schools in Saint-Tropez took part in numerous workshops and sensory experiences to enrich their knowledge of food and be introduced to new flavors. In their schools, the children prepared apple compotes and cakes. They visited the central kitchen of the Pôle enfance to understand the different stages of meal preparation served in the canteen.
Several catering professionals from Saint-Tropez also joined this initiative. At the Château de la Messardière, schoolchildren had the opportunity to taste products such as bottarga, truffle, and dragon fruit. At the Halles de Saint-Tropez, they prepared pizzas, burgers, and sushi. At Byblos, a sensory workshop allowed them to identify various foods with their eyes blindfolded. Le Tigrr also offered them the chance to taste several specialties.
These activities allowed the young participants to develop their curiosity, learn to identify products, and better understand the importance of a varied diet. The City thanks all partner establishments for their hospitality and the management and educational teams of the schools for their commitment.
