The university libraries of the University of Toulon welcome all students, regardless of their level, to their Language Resource Centers (CRL). These spaces allow for language practice in a friendly atmosphere, with the support of monitors.
The CRL at La Garde offers sessions in English, Italian, Spanish, and French as a Foreign Language (FLE). The CRL at Toulon provides courses in English, Italian, and Spanish.
Within the CRLs, students can participate in conversation sessions, work on their oral or written expression, grammar, and vocabulary. It is also possible to prepare assignments, exams, oral presentations, or practice writing a CV and cover letter, as well as train for job interviews. Preparation for language certifications and participation in events throughout the year are also available.
Access to the CRLs is free and requires no registration. Students can come and practice during the scheduled times and stay as long as they wish. For sessions held between 12 PM and 2 PM, students are encouraged to bring their own lunch, as tea and coffee are provided.
The CRL at the library of the La Garde campus is located on the 1st floor of the BU Campus La Garde. The CRL at the Law library on the Toulon Porte d’Italie campus is in the open space to the right upon entering the Law library. It is recommended to check the weekly schedule for session times at both CRLs.
