The City of Sorgues presented a check for €3,073 to the Graine 2 Vie association, chaired by Chantal Talaïa, on Wednesday, October 14. This sum supports children with cancer and their families, notably through the pediatric oncology department at La Timone hospital in Marseille.

This collection is the result of the generosity of donors and the commitment of local stakeholders throughout September. Donation boxes in shops, a solidarity concert-show with students and teachers from the EMMD (Municipal School of Music and Dance), and the participation of the association Anacrouse contributed to the first edition of the 'September in Gold' event.
The Mayor, Thierry Lagneau, praised this collective mobilization. "We cannot make their hardships disappear, but we can show them that they are not alone," he stated, highlighting the support provided to sick children and their loved ones.
Thanks were extended to all contributors: professionals, shopkeepers, associations, artists, and generous donors.
