The Alpes-Maritimes department has been placed on yellow alert for "Rain-Floods" by the Prefecture, starting at 8 PM this Wednesday, November 4th, and for the entire day of Thursday, November 5th.

Light rain is expected this Wednesday, with precipitation intensifying from 8 PM onwards and throughout Thursday. The areas of Grasse to Vence, as well as Coursegoules and Roquesteron, could be particularly affected. On the coast, a fairly strong East to Northeast wind is also anticipated, potentially causing waves of 2 to 2.30 meters in height. No thunderstorms are forecast.
The municipality of Saint-Jeannet urges everyone to be cautious and recommends staying attentive to meteorological developments, avoiding areas near waterways and the coast, exercising vigilance during travel and outdoor activities, and never entering a submerged road.
Municipal services remain vigilant to the evolving situation, in coordination with the Prefecture's services. For any information, the on-call contact for the Prefecture can be reached by phone at 04 93 72 23 23 or by email at pref-sidpc@alpes-maritimes.gouv.fr.
