The Arles Crau Camargue Montagnette (ACCM) agglomeration community has launched a major project to modernize drinking water, sanitation, and rainwater networks in the town center of Tarascon, scheduled from October 2026 to July 2027.

The operation, with a provisional cost of €964,132 excluding tax, affects the impasse des Tonneliers, rue des Tonneliers, and rue Mouniat. The aim is to improve the efficiency of the drinking water network, reduce infiltration of extraneous water, and optimize the sanitation system's operation.
This work is part of the infrastructure modernization initiative undertaken by the ACCM to ensure a more efficient and sustainable service for residents. The mayor of Tarascon, Alexandre Ducouret, was present at the first site meeting on Tuesday, November 3.
The companies presented the project phasing: surveys, soundings, removal of asphalt, trench excavation, network replacement, and finally, complete road resurfacing by the municipality. Traffic restrictions and partial road closures will be implemented as the work progresses.
