Founded this year with ACCM's support, this residents' association brings together members from the citizen council and parent-teacher associations. Their ambition is to develop local initiatives that promote resident well-being and community living.
Several activities are already offered: homework support for primary school students in the neighborhood, reading and theater workshops every Wednesday afternoon, and boxing classes for teenage girls at the Mauget gymnasium.
To facilitate these activities, the City of Arles provides a space located on the 1st floor of the Jules Vallès school. ACCM has also granted an investment subsidy of €12,000 for renovation work, as well as the purchase of furniture and equipment.
This new citizen dynamic illustrates the commitment of Griffeuille residents to enriching their neighborhood daily.
