The Region Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, the Department of Bouches-du-Rhône, the Metropolis Aix-Marseille-Provence, and CMA CGM have reactivated the regional fund "Pillaged Shops Solidarity" to assist businesses affected by the damage that occurred on October 17, 2026.

This fund aims to provide emergency financial aid of 10,000 euros to affected businesses. The goal is to help them cover the initial expenses necessary for resuming their activity and to compensate for their loss of turnover.
The platform for submitting applications has been open since Monday, October 26, 2026, at 2 PM. The deadline for submitting applications is set for February 28, 2027.
Eligible applicants include small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 250 employees, and social and solidarity economy enterprises, whose registered office or establishment is located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, registered and operational by October 17, 2026. Businesses must have welcomed the public and suffered significant material damage and/or theft directly related to the exceptional urban violence that occurred from October 17, 2026. They must also be up-to-date with their social and fiscal contributions and not be in difficulty according to EU regulations, except for companies with a continuation plan approved by a commercial court.
The aid is a flat-rate subsidy of €10,000 per establishment identified by its SIRET number and located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Businesses whose premises have suffered material damage and/or significant theft (shop window, metal shutter, professional equipment, furniture, walls, theft of goods or equipment impacting activity continuity) directly linked to the riots are concerned.
Supporting documents to be attached to the online application include: a recent extract from the National Business Register (RNE) (less than 3 months old), a bank account identification form (RIB) in the name of the affected establishment, a copy of the insurance declaration, expert report, or police report, and possibly photos of the damage.
The CCI Aix-Marseille-Provence assists applicants in processing their applications before submission to the South Region platform. The single point of contact for "Urgence Commerces" can be reached Monday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6 PM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 12 PM.
