Following the damage that occurred in Marseille this weekend on the sidelines of protests against the high cost of living, the Aix-Marseille-Provence Métropole fully mobilized its teams for the restoration of public spaces.

From Saturday evening, over a hundred metropolitan agents, supported by contractors and substantial material resources, were deployed on the ground. These resources included three grapple trucks, three reinforcements from Berre, three backhoe loaders, six large flatbed trucks, two Ampliroll trucks, and six sweepers-waterers.
This mobilization involved teams from sanitation, waste collection, roads, and public lighting. Their intervention made it possible to address the damage, remove bulky items, and clean the affected public spaces.
Beyond the technical interventions, the Métropole is also committed to supporting businesses affected by these events. The Métropole commends the mobilization of its teams and contractors in this exceptional context.
